SW6 moving from beta to Live issue

Hi,

I am having a difficult time understanding moving our SW6 beta site to live. Thy ebeta site was setup on CYON/ch with a preview domoian growzwerg,.cyon.site.

I thought maybe copy al the fiel sna dfolders to the actual domina folder growzwerg.ch
edit the env file and repalced all instances of growzwerg.cyon.site with growzwer.ch

Yes, the new url was added to the sales channel as https://growzwerg.ch

The hosting server domainnam eis point to growzwer.ch/public

goto browser and type in growzwerg.ch and the result is the warning about public directory.

The domian name server have been update to point to cyon.ch nameservers

Can anyone please walk me though how to get growzwerg.c h to load properly when I type in the domaionname growzwer.ch with out the needing to tpye in public.

I’d like to reslove thsi asap

Scot

I’ve tried chaning the SW6 Sale Chanell URL from https://growzwerg.ch to Home

and the result is the same we need to type in the browser URL growzwerg.ch/public this is not hopw website front end urls are spoose to work.

The Document root directory has to point to the /public folder in the Shopware 6 installation directory.
This is necessary because the frontend and the admin interface are located behind it, so it is not necessary to refer to the public directory in the URL in the browser to call the frontend or the admin interface.

Yes, I know. The the dominname growzwer.ch is pointed to growzwer.ch/public

There seems to be a mistake with the configuration, orherwise it would not be possible to access your site with Home

waht are you talking about. the issue is the accessing teh site using the full url wiht public is not the right way to access a website.

al addtion issue with the contact page or any other page results in a odd url path

https://growzwerg.ch/publichttps://growzwerg.ch/Kontakt/

two https: what the heck is this about

This is necessary because the frontend and the admin interface are located behind it, so it is not necessary to refer to the public directory in the URL in the browser to call the frontend or the admin interface.
