Customer address don't ask for a Phone Number

I’m using version 6.5.4.0 and the language pack, the store front end is in Spanish. I’m in a test mode.

When a customer makes a purchasing the system doesn’t ask phone number as a contact information. It just only ask EMAIL but not any phone number.

I created a custom field „PHONE“ and associated with CUSTOMER, but still doesn’t appear in the customer registration form during the shopping process.

Any help from you is valuable.

Maybe have a look at the Shopware manual about custom fields. They do not work like that.

In the Settings, Register/Login you can activate the phone field, even as required.

I solved in two steps.

First. reviewing the „address handling“ for my country. You go to Settings → Countries and select the country of which your Sales Channel is operating. Then go to Edit and select the Address Handling tab. Ensure that the phone number appears in the „address markup“ section.

Second, go to " Settings Login / Registration" and click on „Show phone number“ and „Phone number field required“
