Hallo Zusammen,
seit langem haben wir Shopware 6 in der Staging Phase, zwecks Migration aus dem aktiven SW5 Shop usw.
Bis dato hat es immer funktioniert das die SW6 Updates durchliefen. Aber aktuell kommt es bei uns in SW6.5.8.2 zu so massiven Fehlern beim Update (Backend sowie im Composer) das man dann ein Full backup einspielen muss.
Wir sind gehostet bei ProfiHost, und die haben es ebenfalls versucht, leider efolglos, und meinten wir sollen uns an die Community wenden, 
Hier der Auszug den man beim Update erhält
Profihost: Wie bereits telefonisch mitgeteilt, wäre meine Empfehlung sich an dieser Stelle an den Support oder die Community von Shopware (per GitHub Issue) zu wenden. Als Kontext für den Support schicke ich Ihnen eine Fehlermeldung zu welche entstand, nachdem das .git Verzeichnis unter vendor/shopware umbenannt wurde:
