An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1006 Can’t create database ‚new_shopware_db‘ (errno: 2 „No such file or directory“)
I just got started with Shopware and I cannot complete the installation as it doesn’t recognize my database. I checked and the database definitely exists and the name is correct. What else do I need to do to make it work?

Thank you for your quick reply! I used MariaDB now and it did connect the database successfully. But now it is stuck at the Configuration step. As soon as I click on ‚next‘ the page just keeps loading forever but never goes to the last step ‚Done‘.
What could be the problem?
