Attribut in Kategorie nicht speicherbar

Hallo Seit kurzem lassen sich Kategorien nicht mehr speichern. Das hängt irgendwie mit Attributen zusammen. Ich habe eine Attributfeld mit dem Namen „supplier_id“ vergeben. Im Browser kommt folgende Antwort per Ajax zurück:

Ok, nach sechs Stunden Forschung, habe ich gerade herausgefunden, dass es daran liegt, dass der Ordner in dem der Shop liegt per .htaccess Passwort geschützt ist.

Gibt es dafür eine andere Lösung? Kann es an wrgendwelchen rechten liegen?

Wie schützt ihre eure Testshops?
