Does the Cloud version work with the Shopware PWA?

Looking at the setup guidence for the PWA, it includes installing a plugin at the server end:
Prepare Shopware | PWA

Does the cloud instance have this installed by default? Any help appreciated.

Any responses to this query? I am looking to use the Cloud service as the backend and use the PWA - is this an option?
