Hi all,
New to Shopware and new to the forum. I’m an aspiring webdeveloper and I would like to use Shopware as a webshop for my next customer’s project. However, The customer has his company in Hungary. Often used Payment providers here are Barion and SimplePay.
However, searching through shopware’s store, I couldn’t find a payment plugin that supports these payment methods.
Can anyone here guide me in the right direction or give me some tips about it ?
ChatGPT suggested to write my own plugin for this. But I’m afraid that this is a bit above my expertise level.

I am afraid there is indeed no Shopware integration for these two in specific. Of course you can use the common international payment methods.
If you are interested in starting a project to build integrations (or let them build), I have 15+ years of experience with payment plugins and could either guide you or fulfill it completly.

Thanks for the information. I’m not yet very familiar with payment methods. Because I live in Hungary too, and hence sometimes order from Hungarian webshops, I see mostly Barion and Simplepay as payment methods. These often ask for Credit/Debit Card info.
Considering the integrations. Interested I am for sure, but what would be the effort and costs of such an undertaking ?
