"normal" Installation Guidelines

I think it is nice that you thought about all the special cases, but forgot the „normal“ debian, ubuntu, etc. Developer:

MAMP, Vagrant (who still uses this crap o.O), and Docker but nowhere Ubuntu. Don’t you guys use that alot too at shopware? I wish there would be a quick overview at least in the readme for the normal user who know how to use apache/nginx. I think there was before, please reactivate it ;-)

I think creating a LAMP Stack in Linux is basically the easiest way of installation. I wrote this guide some time ago and it should reflect the Linux Installation as well.

There’s also this guide for setting up a dev environment. I used this to install Shopware on debian: https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-platform-dev-en/system-guide/installation?category=shopware-platform-dev-en/system-guide#local-installation
