# Wie funktioniert Playground?

Ich frag mich grad, ob ich als einfacher kleiner Shopbetreiber für Shopware “NextGen” doch noch ein Fernstudium Informatik absolvieren muss.  
Kann mir grad auch nicht wirklich vorstellen, dass der “API”-Ansatz und das Cloudgedöns wirklich performant ist - sind mir einfach zu viele “Schichten” involviert.  
“Playground” klingt für mich: Muss man sich leisten können - der einfache kleine Shopbetreiber wirt wohl ohne Agenturen und/oder fette Firmen-IT mit Shopware überfordert werden.  
Naja - hab ja “Playground-Zugang” - vielleicht werde ich da irgendwann ja doch noch schlau raus&nbsp;
