# Why doctrine can not be use in shopware 6 plugins?

Well, the question is self-explanatory. Of course, the relations with shop tables could be a problem but one could map the existing table as well.&nbsp;What could go wrong? DAL provided by Shopware and Doctrine ORM is both for fetching and saving to DB. No other purpose. Right?
