# Why are products appearing twice?

As you can see, every&nbsp;time I upload a product it duplicates underneath with less information - is there a way to stop this? I want to keep the first entry and lose the second.&nbsp;

Hi,

I assume, that the product is not actually duplicated in the database but just in the article detail view? In the past those things happened, if the template was not extended corresponding to our 5.0 theme development guideline. If you have plugins, which use „extendsTemplate“ in the frontend, for example, those effects can occur.&nbsp;

Perhaps its something like that?
