# Webhoster stellt Datenbankserver auf MySQL 8 um - Funktioniert SW 5 danach noch?

Hallo Leute,

mein Webhoster Netcup stellt in 4 Tagen den Datenbankserver auf MySQL 8 um.  
Es scheint so dass das Zwang ist.  
Welche Version genau steht natürlich nicht dabei.

Wie verhält sich das mit Shopware 5? Habe die 5.6.9

In den Systemvorrausetzungen steht, dass „MySQL \>= 5.7 (außer 8.0.20 und 8.0.21)“ funkktioniert.  
Bedeutet dies, wenn es eine andere 8er Version ist, dass dann alles funktioniert?

Bin gerade etwas angepisst auf meinen Webhoster ehrlich gesagt.

deine Antwort hat nichts aber rein garnichts mit meiner Frage zu tun

PHP 8 und MySQL 8 ist was komplett anderes 🤨
