# upgrade to 5.5? who to

Is there anything to do before upgrad to stay of the safe side?

Is there a risk to loose the current shop content and settings?

First check all your used plugins! All of these plugins must be compatible with the new version of Shopware! I highly recommend to make a backup of your database and files before pressing the update button!

das hängt von Ihrer aktuellen Version ab.

wenn Sie haben ein alte Version, dann am Meisten haben Sie ein Probleme, wenn du machst das Update direkt zu 5.5

meine Vorschlag ist zu machen Ihre Update Schritt für Schritt.
