# Update von 3.5.6 auf 4 \_> Fehler: Call to a member function

Hallo zusammen, nach einigem hin & her habe ich jetzt das Update von 3.5.6 auf 4 hinbekommen. Leider wird im Frontend nichts angezeigt, weil es schon recht früh den folgenden Fehler gibt: `<meta name="application-name" content="&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Fatal error&lt;/b&gt;: Call to a member function config() on a non-object in &lt;b&gt;/home/staplerp/public_html/testupdate/cache/templates/compile/frontend_gradient_de_DE_1/07/0f/c0/070fc01651ea434bb69c34c43b87937b70159f60.snippet.index.tpl.php&lt;/b&gt; on line &lt;b&gt;543&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Der Fehler besagt, dass er das Template nicht finden kann. Mal vorsichtig nachgefragt: Hast du den Cache schon gelöscht? Versuche auch mal direkt die angezeigte Datei im Filesystem zu löschen. Ansonsten: Hast du unter 3.5 vllt ein Template genutzt, dass es jetzt nicht mehr gibt?

Hallo, du musst die Variablen ändern. Du kannst bei Shopware 4 keine Variablen nach dem alten Schema ‚this‘ benutzen, siehe z.B. Doku: [http://wiki.shopware.de/Shopware-Update … -Variablen](http://wiki.shopware.de/Shopware-Update-3.5.6-auf-4%5C_detail%5C_935.html#Zugriff%5C_auf%5C_config-Variablen)
