# Update bricht bei Datenbankmigration 1/3 bereits ab

Hallo, verwende Shopware 5.3.2 und möchte updaten. Allerdings hat dies noch nie funktioniert. Weder bei dem Versuch auf 5.3.3 noch auf 5.3.4.
Der Shop läuft im Moment noch Lokal über xampp.

Was passt da in der Datenbank nicht? Fremdplugins sind alle deaktiviert. Einige, welche ich als Testversion probiert habe sind längst deinstalliert und gelöscht. Liegt es vielleicht an einer falschen Einstellung?
Vielleicht kann da ja wer helfen, suche schon ewig, auf eine Lösung bin ich noch nicht gekommen.

Hallo NextMike,
die lokalen Servereinstellungen sind sogar besser als die minimalen Anforderungen. Daraus schließe ich aber, dass es daran liegt, dass ich auf Windows unterwegs bin und der Server nicht auf Linuxbasis betrieben wird.
Täusche ich mich da?

XAMMP ist überhaupt nicht geeignet, damit Shopware laufen zu lassen. Wenn Du schon unter Windows testest, dann nimm dir das Bitnami Shopware Paket. Das geht um Welten besser.

aber kann ich dann den Shop auch auf einen Server umziehen wenn er fertig ist.
