# Subdomain bei Migration 5 auf 6

Hallo zusammen,
sorry falls die Frage schon beantwortet wurde!
Muss man selber eine subdomain auf den Server (Webhoster) anlegen? Wenn ja wo soll das Stammverzeichnis liegen? (Bei Anlegen von subshops z.B. ist das Stammverzeichnis das des Hauptshops, deshalb die Frage). Gibt es eine Regel wie die subdomain heißen soll also [sw6.domain.de](http://sw6.domain.de) wäre OK?

Bei einer Migration über Shopware Account ist uns aufgefallen, dass die mit [sw6.domain.de](http://sw6.domain.de) im Account schon autoamtisch so angelegt wurde. Also schon als Vorgabe. Im Prinzip ja scheiß egal, eine Subdomain wird bei Migration (sofern sich die Hauptdomain nicht ändert) generell nötig sein.

Ja klar, Shopware (also in meinem Falle) hatte nur den Namen vorgelegt. Die Subdomain selber kann Shopware ja nicht auf deinem Server anlegen, dass muss man schon selber machen.

ich frage besser nach bevor ich was tue 🙂
Bleibt noch die Stammverzeichnis Frage: soll der auf den Hauptshopverzeichnis sein so wie beim Subshop?

SW5 =\> www.meine\_domain.de
SW6 =\> sw6.meine\_domain.de
