# Static Plugins verschwinden

Hallo, kann mir jemand erklären, warum ich Static Plugins nicht mit ins Staging übernehmen kann? Nach einem SW Update muss man die Static Plugins auch erneut installieren!? Muss ich die Plugins in das „plugins“-Ordner verschieben, damit diese bestehen bleiben?

Die Plugins im Static-Ordner müssen in composer.json aufgeführt sein, sind sie das?

Ich habe die Plugins mit dem Befehl ‚composer install‘ installiert. Die Plugins waren auch in der composer.json-Datei aufgeführt. Nach dem Update waren sie jedoch nicht mehr vorhanden 😕 Jedes Mal, wenn ich die Staging-Umgebung neu aufsetzen muss, muss ich die Plugins erneut über Composer installieren und aktivieren. Die regulären Plugins sind zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits installiert und aktiviert.

Dann funktioniert das nicht. In dem Fall musst du Updates direkt über Composer oder [Symfony Flex](https://developer.shopware.com/docs/guides/installation/template) machen.

Beim „klassischen“ Web-/Backend-Update wird die composer.json überschrieben.
