# Shopware Message Queue ignores Unrecoverable\[...\]Exception

I’m using the [Shopware Message Queue](https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-platform-dev-en/developer-guide/core/message-queue). It says it’s based on the [Symfony Messenger](https://symfony.com/doc/current/components/messenger.html). In the docs for Symfony Messenger 4.4 (Shopware ist currently using 4.4.13) there is the possibility to [avoid retrying](https://symfony.com/doc/4.4/messenger.html#avoiding-retrying) of failed messages when the `Symfony\Component\Messenger\Exception\UnrecoverableMessageHandlingException` is thrown. Unfortunately this is not respected by Shopware itself. Are there workarounds? Is Shopware planning to respect this in a future version?

P.S. I couldn’t post it with „UnrecoverableMessageHandlingException“ in title. I got the error „Titel scheint unklar zu sein, ein oder mehrere Worte ist sehr lang?“. Maybe this should be disabled for this forum?
