# Shopware Mailer geht mit "smtp" nicht, mit "mail" aber schon

Hallo,

woran kann das liegen das der Mailer in Shopware (Für die Bestellbestätigung usw.) als Methode “smtp” nichts sendet und im Frontend die Meldung kommt, dass die Bestätigungmail nicht gesendet werden konnte, das ganze mit Mehtode “mail” aber einwandfrei funktioniert, mit genau den selben settings. Ich nutze 465 ssl, der port ist auch frei.&nbsp;

Mail nutzt die interne Funktion von PHP, dafür muss nur dein Server korrekt eingerichtet sein, alle anderen Settings sind egal.

Für SMTP müssen die Settings im Backend alle korrekt sein.

Ok nur ich frage mich was soll da falsch sein? Gibt der iwo nen Log dafür aus?&nbsp;

Ideen:

-mail host falsch

-port frei, aber falsch (andere Servereinstellung)

-hostname falsch (Leer lassen)

-passwort mit leerzeichen kopiert

-passwort falsch eingegeben

-falsche Authentifizierung

-falscher Benutzername

-Shop-Betreiber Email in den Grundeinstellungen nicht oder falsch hinterlegt

-Email-Server falsch konfiguriert

-undsoweiter undsoweiter

" Dies kann der Fall sein, wenn Sie versuchen, sich mit einem Service zu verbinden, der nicht aktiv ist. Sie haben also möglicherweise einen falschen Server angegeben, oder der gewünschte Dienst (SMTP, POP3 oder IMAP) steht auf diesem Server nicht zur Verfügung. Es kann auch sein, dass der Dienst einen anderen Port benutzt. "

Ich habe einen anderen smtp genutzt, der auf jeden fall aktiv ist, selber Fehler!!!&nbsp;
