Guten Tag.
Ich habe Shopware 5.5.7 auf einer Cloud-Server-Lösung von IONOS (ehemals 1&1) zu Staging-Zwecken installiert. Der Server läuft mit Ubuntu 18.04 und hat Plesk Onyx als administrative Oberfläche.

Ich habe dort einen eigenen Mailserver mit postfix und dovecot eingerichtet. Webmailer und Outlook-Konto funktionieren für die [Info@meinedomain.de](mailto:Info@meinedomain.de) auch einwandfrei.
Wenn ich die Einstellungen jetzt in den Mailer in Grundeinstellungen-\>Shops-\>Mailer eingebe erhalte ich im Backend die Fehlermeldung „Die E-Mail konnte nicht erfolgreich versendet werden.“
Ein Blick in die Logs zeigt folgenden Eintrag:

```
[2019-03-09 00:35:27] core.ERROR: Zend_Mail_Protocol_Exception: Could not open socket in /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Zend/Mail/Protocol/Abstract.php:273 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Zend/Mail/Protocol/Smtp.php(168): Zend_Mail_Protocol_Abstract->_connect('ssl://meine...') #1 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Zend/Mail/Transport/Smtp.php(195): Zend_Mail_Protocol_Smtp->connect() #2 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Zend/Mail/Transport/Abstract.php(343): Zend_Mail_Transport_Smtp->_sendMail() #3 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Zend/Mail.php(1176): Zend_Mail_Transport_Abstract->send(Object(Enlight_Components_Mail)) #4 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Enlight/Components/Mail.php(358): Zend_Mail->send(Object(Zend_Mail_Transport_Smtp)) #5 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Shopware/Controllers/Backend/Widgets.php(686): Enlight_Components_Mail->send() #6 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Enlight/Controller/Action.php(193): Shopware_Controllers_Backend_Widgets->sendMailToMerchantAction() #7 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Enlight/Controller/Dispatcher/Default.php(563): Enlight_Controller_Action->dispatch('sendMailToMerch...') #8 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Library/Enlight/Controller/Front.php(222): Enlight_Controller_Dispatcher_Default->dispatch(Object(Enlight_Controller_Request_RequestHttp), Object(Enlight_Controller_Response_ResponseHttp)) #9 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Shopware/Kernel.php(202): Enlight_Controller_Front->dispatch() #10 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/vendor/symfony/http-kernel/HttpCache/SubRequestHandler.php(102): Shopware\Kernel->handle(Object(Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request), 1, true) #11 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/vendor/symfony/http-kernel/HttpCache/HttpCache.php(448): Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\HttpCache\SubRequestHandler::handle(Object(Shopware\Kernel), Object(Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request), 1, true) #12 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Shopware/Components/HttpCache/AppCache.php(268): Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\HttpCache\HttpCache->forward(Object(Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request), true, NULL) #13 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/vendor/symfony/http-kernel/HttpCache/HttpCache.php(238): Shopware\Components\HttpCache\AppCache->forward(Object(Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request), true) #14 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/engine/Shopware/Components/HttpCache/AppCache.php(105): Symfony\Component\HttpKernel\HttpCache\HttpCache->pass(Object(Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request), true) #15 /var/www/vhosts/meinedomain.de/httpdocs/shopware.php(122): Shopware\Components\HttpCache\AppCache->handle(Object(Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\Request)) #16 {main} [] {"uid":"664adf9"}
```

> Einstellungen im Mailer:
>
> Methode zum Senden der Mail: smtp
> Hostname für die Message-ID: [meinedomain.de](http://meinedomain.de)
>
> Mail Host: [meinedomain.de](http://meinedomain.de)
>
> Standard Port: 465 (aber auch bei 587)
>
> Verbindungs Präfix: SSL (aber auch bei tls)
> SMTP Benutzername: [info@meinedomain.de](mailto:info@meinedomain.de)
> SMTP Passwort: \*\*\*\*\*\*\*
> Verbindungs-Authentifizierung: login

Wenn ich das ganze ohne Authentifizierung laufen lasse und Ports 25 bei smtp benutze bekomme ich die entsprechende Fehlermeldung in den logs:
CRITICAL: 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed: authentication failure … und so weiter.

Ich bin etwas ratlos. Daran hängt ja nun der gesamte E-Mailversand und ohne den kann ich meine Staging-Testkunden-Gruppe nicht los lassen.
