# Shopware 5 auf 6 Migration auf eine neue Domain

Hallo,

ich würde gerne Shopware 5 Shop auf 6 migrieren, aber möchte dies auf eine neue Domain machen. Das heist ich besitze momentan z.B. [www.xy.de](http://www.xy.de) und möchte die Daten von diesem Shopware 5 Shop auf z.B. [www.yy.de](http://www.yy.de), welcher ein Shopware 6 Shop ist, migrieren. Geht sowas überhaupt?

Die Domains besitze ich bereits und den Shopware 6 Shop habe ich auf die neue Domain installiert.

ja das geht - einfach den Migrations-Assistenten (SW6) und Migrations-Connector (SW5) installieren:

Hallo @MUsman,

du solltest eine Migration erst in deinem Shopware Account auf [Shopware.com](http://Shopware.com) anstoßen. Dort legst du die Ziel-Domain fest, auf welcher die Migration stattfinden soll (Das kann eine Subdomain sein oder auch eine Hauptdomain). In dem Fall wäre das deine Shopware 6 Installation.

Dieser Schritt ist notwendig um einen Lizenzumzug deiner bereits gekauften Lizenzen zu starten. Shopware stellt dir während des Migrationsprozesses die nötigen Lizenzen für Shopware 6 aus, damit du keine Probleme bekommst bei der eigentlichen Migration. Alter Stand oder auch aktueller, du hast dafür 12 Monate Zeit! (Kann gern korrigiert werden)
