# shipping cost calulation based on the total weight of the cart? Possibly?

Is there a way to calculated the shipping cost based on the total weight of the cart?  
It is necessary because the shippingcompany calulates the shipping rate based on the total weight ordered to one address.

unfortunately currently the shipping cost is calculated&nbsp;based on unique products shipping costs summed up.
