# Selection Fields on ''Item open text fields''

Hai., I am getting struggle in creating Selection fields in ‚Additional fields‘. In backend, Configuration-----\>Basic settings----\>Items----\>Item open text fields----\>Add Entry----\>Selection fields.I don’t know how to add option value in dropdown box. Please help me in this…

Hello, Select options can not be added through administration. Since you are creating [ExtJS ComboBox field](http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.1/#!/api/Ext.form.field.ComboBox) (rather than usual HTML Select), you need to specify [ExtJS Store](http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.1/#!/api/Ext.data.Store) instead of options. If you want to display existing store (i.e. payment statuses), you can find it’s name in source code. Otherwise you gonna need to create store manually.
