# REST API - Fatal error: Uncaught exception / 503, kein JSON

Hallo, es sind meine ersten Gehversuche über die REST-API auf Shopware (4.3.6) zuzugreifen. Bei gültigen Abfragen bekomme ich auch gültige Antworten. Nur erhalte ich bei falschen Anfragen (ungültige API-Endpunkte, aber auch bei ungültigen Artikel-IDs („[https://my.shop/api/acticles/12345](https://my.shop/api/acticles/12345)“) einen Fatal Error: Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‚Shopware\Components\Api\Exception\NotFoundException‘ with message ‚Article by id 12345 not found‘ in… 503 Service Unavailable Eine JSON-Meldung kommt in diesem Fall ueberhaupt nicht. Ich hätte lieber eine JSON-Meldung mit „success“:false Habe ich im Setup des Apache2/PHP5.5 oder im Shop etwas falsch eingestellt ? ☹ Server ist ein Ubuntu 14.04.02 LTS Danke und Grüße Marc

Hi, eigentlich werden die Exceptions entsprechend abgefangen und als JSON ausgegeben mit dem entsprechenden StatusCode. Es gibt ein Rest-API-Plugin - kannst du eben checken, ob das noch korrekt installiert ist? Das kümmert sich u.A. um diese „Umwandlung“ der Fehler. Besten Gruß, Daniel
