# REST-API Create Customer

Hallo zusammen,

bei der Anlage eines Kunden über die REST-API (Shopware 5.2.2) bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

```
{"success":false,"message":"Validation error","errors":["salutation: The value you selected is not a valid choice."]}

```

Als “salutation” übergebe ich “Herr”. Ich habe es auch mit “mr” versucht.

Für einen Tipp wäre ich sehr dankbar.
