# REDIS Session Handler sorgt für Fehler.

Hallo. Ich möchte in meiner Shopware 5.5.10 Installation den REDIS Session Handler nutzen. Gehostet wird bei [all-inkl.com](http://all-inkl.com) auf einem Managed Server, redis wurde heute vom Support installiert.

Gemäß&nbsp;[der Anleitung hier](https://developers.shopware.com/sysadmins-guide/sessions/#redis) hab ich meine config.php dann entsprechend ergänzt um diesen Eintrag:

```
'session' => [
    'save_handler' => 'redis',
    'save_path' => "tcp://127.0.0.1:6379",
],

'backendsession' => [
    'save_handler' => 'redis',
    'save_path' => "tcp://127.0.0.1:6379",
],

```

&nbsp;

Mein Frontend lädt dann aber gar nicht mehr (HTTP Error 500) und das Backend wirft folgenden Fehler aus:

Liest sich so, als ob der Shop sich nicht zu deiner Redis Installation verbinden kann.

Naja, würde erstmal per SSH einen CURL oder Ping an die Adresse machen und schauen, ob der Redis wirklich unter dem Port erreichbar ist.

Es lag anscheinend ein Fehler im&nbsp;PHP-Redis Modul vor.&nbsp;Der all-inkl Support hat das beheben können. Jetzt läuft’s.

Hi, wie haben die das Problem behoben? Ich habe den gleichen Fehler:

```auto
Failed to read session data: files (path: tcp://127.0.0.1:6379)

```

Es wird „files“ angezeigt, obwohl redis konfiguriert wurde.
