# Product Variants Question

Hello guys,

Can I use already existing product as a variant to another one? For example I have 2 products in the database T-Shirt Red costs 2$, T-Shirt Yellow costs 3$, I want T-Shirt yellow to be a variant of T-Shirt Red. Can I group them automatically somehow?

Hi,

„merging“ two products like this is not possible by default. Technically it would be posssible with some database queries - but I think it is not worth the effort for just a few products.&nbsp;
