# Postgresql in Shopware 6

Hallo zusammen,

für Shopware 5 gabs die Frage ja schonmal hier: [PostgreSQL](https://forum.shopware.com/t/postgresql/51263)

Nachdem Shopware 6 ja nun Symfony und Doctrine nutzt sollte Postgresql statt Mysql ja (großes) Problem sein, außer dass es halt nicht offiziell supported wird.

Datenbankprozeduren oder so scheint Shopware 6 (auf den ersten Blick) auch nicht einzusetzen.

Hat das schonmal jemand probiert? Geht das?

Shopware 6 nutzt kein doctrine und sogar an einigen Stellen plain sql. Daher wird Shopware 6 definitiv nicht zu postgre kompatibel sein.
