# Plugin: make checkout field optional

Hi, I’m trying to make a field within my Shopware checkout process optional… but I can’t for the life of me figure out a simple enough way of doing this. Has anyone had any experience with this before?

Take a look at this Plugin: [https://github.com/hostianer/HostiConditions](https://github.com/hostianer/HostiConditions) Maybe it helps you to figured out how it works. This little Plugin adds a secound checkbox after the “terms of use” checkbox.
