# Plugin Lizenz von Shopware 5 zu Shopware 6

Kann, sofern ein Nachfolgeplugin vorhanden ist, die erworbene Lizenz für einen Shopware 5 Shop auf Shopware 6 übertragen werden oder muss das Plugin dann neu erworben werden?

Ich hatte mal wegen eines Mail-Templates beim Hersteller angefragt und da ging es nicht. Ich gehe davon aus, dass dies generell nicht geht und man separate Plugin-Lizenzen für SW5 und SW6 braucht. Ein Shopware 6 Nachfolger ist streng genommen ein komplett neues Plugin für das du eine neue Lizenz brauchst. Allerdings bieten die meisten Hersteller einen großzügigen Rabatt (z.B. 30%) an, wenn du bereits eine Lizenz für den Vorgänger hast.
