# PayPal 3.2.0: Could not process checkout due to a communication failure

Das eingesetzte PayPal-Plugin ist mit 3.2.0 noch recht alt, das Plugin sollte möglichst jedoch nicht aktualisiert werden:

In den Logs ist in den letzten Tagen vermehrt folgender Fehler ohne weitere Einträge zu finden:

@Michael_Telgmann hat PayPal in der API etwas geändert, so dass das Plugin nun häufiger fehl schlägt, ist das reiner Zufall und gibt es eine Möglichkeit den exakten Fehlergrund zu bestimmen?

Hallo @Max_Shop

den genauen Grund bekommt man leider nicht heraus. In neueren Versionen des Plugins, leiten wir den Kunden noch mal zu PayPal, wie die Fehlermeldung auch vorschlägt.
