# Online installation

I have installed shopware 4 through FTP. Every folder of shopware is created and database also imported but when i run the domain still showing this error " Shopware 4 must be configured first. Please run the installer under / install /!" but i removed the "install folder " Can someone what is the problem?

Hi, it’s not enough, to upload the files through ftp, you have also run an installation routine after the upload. So upload the deleted folder /install once more and then run the installation under yourdomain/yourpathtoshopware/install. Greetings

Hey martinag One more question how to check i imported the database or not. If i noe imported database how to import it . Still i am using demo shop desgin and i want design own template it is possible can u guide … Greetings Vijayaraj
