# Newsletter versand geht nicht

Hallo,

ich will jetzt einen Newsletter versenden, funktioniert aber nicht.  
es will einen cron ausführen, tut es aber nicht.  
Kann ich nicht einfach auf versenden drücken und der NL geht raus?  
wie funktioniert das denn?

Version 5.6.8

Hast Du einen Cron Job auf Server-Ebene angelegt (s. [Shopware 5 - Einstellungen - System: Cronjobs](https://docs.shopware.com/de/shopware-5-de/einstellungen/system-cronjobs) )?

Sind die Einstellungen im Shopware-Mailer korrekt (s. [Shopware 5 - Einstellungen - E-Mails](https://docs.shopware.com/de/shopware-5-de/einstellungen/e-mails) )?
