# Mysql 5.1 oder Mysql 5.5 für SW 4.03  - Welche nehmen?

Mein Hoster stellt mich vor die Wahl Mysql 5.1 oder 5.5 Welche Version soll ich installieren lassen? Viele Dank für Hinweise 😉

Aus der Installationsroutine: Shopware 4 requires at least MySQL 5.1.0. Im Prinzip sollte es also egal sein. nimm einfach das neuere 🙂

habe beim Google stöbern gelesen das 5.5 eine wesentliche bessere Performance hat. Jemand Erfahrung damit?

Ja, Percona ist “out of the box” schneller. Kann man ruhig installieren.
