# Move from folder to root

hello,

I’ve installed Sw on a subdomain and want to move it to the main domain.

Would it work if I do these steps;

- copy files
- edit .env paths (APP\_URL and COMPOSER\_HOME)
- edit channels to new url

Please let me know if I’m missing something.
