# MariaDB: Kompatibilität mit Shopware 5.5 und 5.6

Unser Hoster DomainFactory stellt demnächst von MySQL 5.6 auf MariaDB 10.4 um (Quelle: [Verschiebung der Einstellung alter PHP-Versionen & Info zur neuen Webserverplattform - DomainFactory Supportforum](https://forum.df.eu/forum/allgemein/aktuelle-informationen/4658-verschiebung-der-einstellung-alter-php-versionen-info-zur-neuen-webserverplattform#post4658))

Ist Shopware 5.5 und 5.6 kompatibel (6 ist kompatibel, siehe [Shopware 6 - Erste Schritte - Systemvoraussetzungen](https://docs.shopware.com/de/shopware-6-de/erste-schritte/systemvoraussetzungen))?

Derzeit in Verwendung: Shopware 5.5.10 (deswegen ist die Aussage mit Shopware 5.5 erstmal am wichtigsten)

5.6 testen wir intern seit Monaten bereits MariaDB 10.4 mit. Zu 5.5 wurde nur bis 10.3 getestet, von daher könnten Probleme auftreten.

Ich hatte bis vor einem Monat&nbsp;bei mir aufn Server noch eine SW 5.5.8 (jetzt 5.6.4)&nbsp;laufen mit&nbsp; MariaDB 10.4. Es gab da keine Probleme, habe aber auch nur Standardshop genutzt und keine Plugins.

Danke für die bisherigen Antworten. Toll wäre es noch wenn Shopware sich äußern würde. MariaDB 10.4 gibts seit Ende 2018, daher hoffe ich mal, dass Shopware 5.5 schon kompatibel ist.

Und Shopware 5.5.0 gab es schon davor, [seit&nbsp;18.09.2018](https://www.shopware.com/de/changelog-sw5/) … also ist das nicht umbedingt der Fall… 😉

Und ja, es kamen danach noch Patch-Versionen 5.5.X, aber dort werden normalerweise nur Bugs-gefixed und keine neuen großen Features eingebaut.

Obs hilft weiss ich nicht, aber 10.3.22 läuft hier bei uns mit debian 9 einwandfrei mit 5.6.  
10.4.\* war uns letztes Jahr zu riskant, könnte man aber mal testen. Mittlerweile gibt es ja schon 10.5.\*

Und gibts da Probleme ? Welche&nbsp;Vorteile soll/hat 10.4 gegenüber 10.3 ?&nbsp;

Mir geht’s nur um 10.4, da diese höchstwahrscheinlich genutzt wird. 10.5 derzeit in Entwicklung würde ich nie nutzen. Nur stabile Versionen!
