# Mailversand mit SMTP Network unreachable

Hallo liebe Communinty,

&nbsp;

wir haben einen Strato Managed Server und ich habe im Punkt Mailer bei unserem Shopware 5.0 Shop alles ordnungsgemäß eingegeben. Nun bringt er beim Versuch eine Email an einen Kunden zu versenden immer wieder den Fehler „Network unreachable“ … ich habe diverse Varianten ausprobiert und weiß nun leider nicht mehr weiter. Sieht jemand von evtl. den Fehler?? 🙂

Methode: smtp

Hostname: [hxxxxxxxxx.stratoserver.net](http://hxxxxxxxxx.stratoserver.net)

Mail Host:&nbsp;[smtp.strato.de](http://smtp.strato.de)

Port:&nbsp;465

Präfix:&nbsp;ssl

Benutzer:&nbsp;[shop@tr-carstyling.de](mailto:shop@tr-carstyling.de)

Passwort: Passwort

Auth: login

Probier mal die Methode leer zu lassen.

Auth: plain

&nbsp;

Ich habe die Tage auch an der Anbindung von 1&1 zu tun gehabt.

Methode zum Senden der Mail:  
Hostname für die Message-ID:  
Mail Host: [smtp.1und1.de](http://smtp.1und1.de)  
Standard Port: 587  
Verbindungs Präfix: tls  
SMTP Benutzername: Meine Mailadresse  
SMTP Passwort: mein password  
Verbindungs-Authentifizierung: plain

Jetzt geht es.

Du kannst ansonsten auch noch Port 587 und als Präfix tls versuchen.

Wenn [hxxxxxxxxx.stratoserver.net](http://hxxxxxxxxx.stratoserver.net) aber identisch mit Deinem Server ist (also localhost entspricht), brauchst Du SMTP gar nicht, sondern kannst die PHP-mail()-Funktion nutzen.

Das Notification Plugin war nicht aktiviert … nach dessen Aktivierung klappt nun alles einwandfrei 😃
