Die Fehlermeldung “authentication failed” ist relativ eindeutig,  eine SMTP Verbindung kommt nicht Zustande, diese solltest Du mal prüfen. (Auth, Host, Port, User, Passwort) ob eine Mail durchgeht. Eventuell kann auch der Dienst auf dem Server nicht mehr passen, würde aber erstmal die Authentifizierung über der Client prüfen.   ---

sorry thema erledigt fehler lag daran das ich unix basierten server habe anscheinend und deshalb Statt SMTP Mail auswählen soll ---

Wenn die Zugangsdaten korrekt hinterlegt waren, muss es irgendeine andere Einstellung im Shopware-Mailer gewesen sein (hast Du evtl. einen Screenshot?).
