# jQuery ajax

Hallo ich führe&nbsp;in einem Javascript Plugin eine andere JS Funktion&nbsp;aus.  
In dieser wird beim Abschicken&nbsp;versucht die ajax Funktion von Jquery auszuführen.

Leider erhalte ich da immer folgenden Fehler.

```
$.ajax is not a function

```

Hat jemand dazu eine Idee?

jQuery wird nur in einer Slim-Variante eingesetzt, dabei steht das Ajax-Modul nicht zur Verfügung, siehe auch:

Das ist ja schlecht. Kann man irgendwie das anpassen? So das die normale Variante geladen wird?

Instead of ajax, you can use HTTP Client. It provides the same functionality.

Könnte man den Forenbeitrag vielleicht lesbar machen? er ist nicht aufrufbar 🙂
