# How to turn on 'guest checkout'

I must be overlooking an option to turn guest checkout on for one of the saleschannels I run within our Shopware environment, but I really can’t find is. Who can help me out? Thanks!

Hi Duff,

guest checkout is always on. You should find a checkbox labelled „Do not create a customer account.“ below the first name field (with the default theme).

Thanks! So there is no way to turn it off other than removing it form the template?&nbsp;

you are correct, there are no settings in the admin area to just switch it off.

I do not think as well that there is a setting in the admin area.
