# How to create a new page like an about page?

Hello I can’t figure out how to create a new page. I did find a tutorial on it:&nbsp;&nbsp;[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X18fYByqgNs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X18fYByqgNs)&nbsp;and it does show up in the footer but when I click on the link it just goes to the homepage. So do i need to configure a round somewhere? I am looking to make an www.mydomain.nl/about page. I tried clearing cache already.

Hi Sann,

what is the link behind “About” saying? it should normally link to mydomain.nl/about if you setup a layout for it and if the category is active.
