# How can I remove/replace the shop ware footer logo

Hello, is anyone able to help me and let me know how I can replace the shopware logo in the footer? Many thanks in advance!

Hello, you can find it in&nbsp;

/html/vendor/shopware/storefront/Resources/views/storefront/layout/footer

```
{% sw_icon 'shopware' style {'size':'xs'} %}

```

just delete or command it out. But beware the next update maybee it will be back. So you better make your own theme.

Great! Thanks for your reply! Do you know, if I duplicate the shop ware theme from the admin side, and then edit this theme via ftp like you suggest, would this duplicated theme (that I duplicated from Admin) be over written in a subsequent update as it is the shop ware theme? Or would I be safe? Thank you for your help!

&nbsp;To replace the shopware logo in the footer, you could try deleting it! If that does not work either, maybe try to check online.
