# Hot-proxy command not changing files

Im new to shopware 6 and today i finally have shopware 6 development running on my macbook. I saw that i need to run storefront:hot-proxy to have a watcher turned on.  
When i turn this on i see that he is correctly watching the files and says it compiling when i change something in my template yet i don’t see any change at all in my IDE. It still has the compiled files from the initial build command.

Also i really don’t like auto reload of the browser so i dont use the localhost:9998, this can’t be the problem right?
