# Funktion des Blocks document\_index\_selectAdress in den PDF-Templates

Weiß&nbsp;jemand für was der Block&nbsp; **document\_index\_selectAdress&nbsp;** benutzt wird? Was ist hier die Idee? Habe folgendes Snippet hier im Forum entdeckt:

```
{block name="document_index_selectAdress"}
   {assign var="shippingaddress" value="shipping"}
   {assign var="billingaddress" value="billing"}
{/block}

```

Habe bisher immer einfach&nbsp; **$User.shipping.xyz** zu meinen Templates hinzugefügt um die Lieferadresse&nbsp;zu ergänzen und diesen&nbsp;Block nicht angefasst.  
Für eine kurze Nachhilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar!
