# Frage zu Shopware 5.4 "FLEXIBLE THEME-BASIS"

Hi,

unter&nbsp;[Die Shopware Produkt Tour | Shopware](https://de.shopware.com/neuheiten/) steht unter dem Punkt „FLEXIBLE THEME-BASIS“

> ab sofort ist es möglich, gezielt die Styles und/oder das Javascript des Eltern-Themes nicht zu übernehmen

Weiß jemand an welcher Stelle, bzw. wie es möglich sein wird? Habe dazu noch nichts gefunden, an welcher Stelle muss ich suchen?

Wenn du ein neues Child-Theme erstellst, solltest du definieren können, was übernommen wird.&nbsp;  
Schaue mal morgen, wo wir die Doku dazu haben 🙂

GIbt es hierzu schon weitere Infos? In der Doku habe ich noch nichts gefunden. Wenn ich im Backend ein Theme anlege kann ich an keiner Stelle etwas definieren.

sorry, dass ich nochmal pushe, aber ich würde das heute gerne mal testen, aber ich finde keinen Hinweis dazu. Hat es schon jemand geschafft?

Das bedeutet dann, dass ich damit die Update-Fähigkeit der&nbsp;LESS-/JS-Definitionen „verliere“.

Ich müsste dann bei einem Update manuell die Änderungen&nbsp;in mein Theme einfügen, richtig?&nbsp;
