# Erstellte robots.txt geht auf Fehler 404

Hallo, ich habe eine robots.txt erstellt und in den Ordner /public hochgeladen. Wenn ich diese Datei nun aufrufe, werde ich weitergeleitet zu meinem Shop mit einer 404 Seite.

Die google search console findet die Datei auch nicht…woran liegt dies ?

Wieso lädts Du eine eigene robots.txt rauf? Die gibt es in Shopware doch bereits.

Dieser Inhalt darf natürlich nicht in die robots.txt, sondern in die Datei /frontend/robots\_txt/index.tpl.&nbsp;

mir scheint du bist gerade bei SW5 …dss Verzeichnis&nbsp;/frontend/robots\_txt/index.tpl gibt es bei mir in sw6 nicht

Mir scheint das du dein Forum Post falsch erstellt hast - Kuck mal nach oben wo er steht. Ist nämlich im SW5 Topic. Dachts mir schon bei deinem “/public”.

Bin leider nocht nicht produktiv auf SW6 weswegen ich da nicht helfen kann.
