# Email Versand

Also meine lieben Kollegen und Profis!

Ich stehe vor folgendem Problem:

Mein Hoster hat ein Upgrade (SSD) durchgeführt. LEIDER wollte ich keine Übernahme der alten Daten und habe nun Shopware 5.5.10 installiert. Mit dem Ergebnis, dass keine Mails versendet werden.

Ich habe “beinahe” alle Einträge hier zu dem Thema durchforstet. Die Doku über Email gelesen (wo es ja fast nur um UNIX und Linux geht) - so kommt es mir vor. Trotzdem ich also schon Jahre mit Shopware dahin wandere, keine Chance.

Derzeit sind die Einstellungen bei mailer folgende:

sending\_method: smtp

mail host: [smtp.xxxxx.com](http://smtp.xxxxx.com)

Default Port: 587

Connection Prefix: tls

Smtp Username: xxxxx

smtp Password: xxxxx

Connection auth: login

&nbsp;

\*) Username und Password korrekt, da wir schon seit geraumer Zeit Mails per Outlook senden und erhalten.

Mailhost ist der Emailhost unseres Hosters, wie auch für normalen Mailversnd (ohne Shopware)

Wenn ich nicht schon graue Haare hätte …

Wenn Du Zugriff auf das Mail-Log hast, schau’ bitte dort einmal nach, ob Du ein Problem sehen kannst.

Ansonsten kannst Du die verwendeten Einstellunge auch einmal in Deinem E-Mail-Programm testen und schauen, ob der Versand dort funktioniert.

Also Email im Outlook funktioniert schon seit 3 Wochen tadellos.&nbsp;

Das Logfile - egal welche Einstellung ich versuche - bringt:

Email could not be sent. Error message: Cannot assign requested address

&nbsp;

Als würde etwas verhindern, dass sich shopware grundsätzlich mit dem Mailserver verbindet. Ich bin ja normalerweise ein extrem ruhiger Mensch, aber das nervt schon extrem gewaltig.

Nutzt Du in Outlook für das Senden auch Port 587? Die Fehlermeldung hört sich für mich danach an, als ob auf Port 587 entweder kein Mailserver läuft oder dort schon ein anderer Prozess läuft.

Konnte in der Nacht das Problem lösen!

nun sieht die korrekte Einstellung beim mailer so aus:

sending\_method: smtp

Message ID Hostname: localhost.xxxxxxxxx.xxx (x ist die Mailserver domain)

mail host: [smtp.xxxxx.com](http://smtp.xxxxx.com)

Default Port: 587

Connection Prefix: tls

Smtp Username: xxxxx

smtp Password: xxxxx

Connection auth: login
