# Datenbank Version Shopware 557 und Shopware 6

Hallo,

wir benutzen momentan für unseren Shop Shopware 557. Wir wollen aber gern auf Shopware 6 upgraden. Allerdings haben wir noch eine ältere MYSQL Version am laufen.

Meine Frage: Können wir einfach auf MariaDB 10.3.22 oder höher updaten und läuft dann Shopware 577 noch einwandfrei. Leider geht ein DB Update bei unserem Provider nur global.

Hallo

ich hab seinerzeit einen Umzug bei Timmehosting auf einen anderen Server beauftragt um eine höhere Datenbank und PHP zu bekommen.
MariaDB 10.3.22 upgegrad läuft ohne Probleme.

    Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
    Server-Typ: MariaDB
    Server-Version: 10.3.22-MariaDB-1:10.3.22+maria~stretch - mariadb.org binary distribution
    Protokoll-Version: 10
