# Custom Fields - am Produkt - welche Limits gibt es?

Hallo,

wir haben umfangreiche Produktdaten und wollten die Custom Fields am Produkt auf Variantenbasis nutzen. Bei Tests fiel uns auf, dass Daten verloren gehen. Genutzt werden 75 Custom Fields, wovon eines eine alternative Beschreibung auf Variantenbasis hat. Es sieht so aus, als wenn neu beschriebene Custom Fields ältere Daten verdrängen. Hat jemand das gleiche Problem, oder sind Limits bekannt? Ich konnte dazu irgendwie keine Angaben finden.

Custom Fields sind eher nicht für diese Masse von Daten gedacht, dafür solltet Ihr auf Entity Extensions umschwenken - damit könnt ihr die Datenbankseite besser aussteuern.

Hallo @aggrosoft, vielen Dank für den Tipp mit den Entity Extensions. Schau ich mir direkt einmal an. Vielleicht kann ich dann eine Reihe von Feldern auslagern und nur ein paar Custom Fields weiterhin nutzen.
