# config.xml im Plugin

Kann man über die config.xml Datei Grundeinstellungen anpassen? Idee bei einem Plugin ist, dass dort direkt eine Grundeinstellung angepasst werden kann - da die Grundeinstellungen doch recht unübersichtlich sind.

Habe die Konfiguration direkt im Plugin bei einigen gesehen, leider alle verschlüsselt 😕

Hallo @Misengo‍,

über die config.xml kannst du keine bestehenden Grundeinstellungen o.Ä. überschreiben.  
Jedoch dürften sämtliche Plugin-Einstellungen automatisch auch in den Grundeinstellungen auftauchen (Einstellungen \> Grundeinstellungen \> Weitere Einstellungen).

Das mit den Einstellungen im Backend weiß ich - nur würde ich gerne direkt im Plugin die Option anbieten, ohne dass der Nutzer extra in die Grundeinstellungen muss.

Das ist ja im Standard auch der Fall @Misengo‍.

Die Plugin-Einstellungen tauchen in den Grundeinstellungen&nbsp; **UND** &nbsp;in den Plugin-Einstellungen selbst auf.  
Alternativ kannst du dir natürlich auch ein eigenes Backend-Modul bauen, aber dafür ist ein bisschen Entwicklungs-Erfahrung benötigt.

Man kann in der config.xml keine bestehenden GrundEinst. überschreiben.

Ich möchte Beispielsweise die Standard Captcha Source setzen, ich kann die aktuelle Methode (dessen Name) getten, aber nicht setten.
